## KONFIGURATIONSTOOLS FÜR SEILROLLEN UND MASCHINENBEARBEITETE SCHAFTHAKEN VON CROSBY
„Hast du kurz Zeit, Martin?”, ruft Thomas, als er in Martins Büro kommt.
„Wir haben ein Problem mit dem Haken im Block von Kran Nummer 2.“ Martin schaut auf und antwortet: „Was ist passiert? Hat sich einer von euch verletzt?“
„Noch nicht“, fährt Thomas fort. „Aber wenn wir nicht schnell eine Lösung finden, ist das nur eine Frage der Zeit. Der Haken ist alt und vom Verschleiß gezeichnet. Die Sicherungsfalle schließt nicht mehr richtig. Kein Wunder, dass sich unsere Jungs am Boden Sorgen machen...“
„Dann müssen wir sofort eine Lösung finden“, antwortet Martin. „Geh' zu Birgit vom Einkauf und sag' ihr, was genau du brauchst. Dann kann sie bei unserem Crosby-Händler ein Angebot einholen.“
„Hmm, ich weiß genau, was wir brauchen. Aber das Ding ist schon so alt, dass wir keine brauchbaren Zeichnungen von den Einzelteilen der Maschine haben“, fährt Thomas fort. Wann immer ich versucht habe, Birgit solche Details in Worten zu erklären, kam es am Ende zu Missverständnissen“.
„Was für ein Glück du hast, Thomas“, antwortet Martin, und fährt fort: „Unser Crosby-Vertreter war vor kurzem hier. Er hat mir von Tools auf der Crosby-Website erzählt. Die heißen 'Configurator'. Das eine Tool dient zum Konfigurieren von Seilscheiben, das andere zum Konfigurieren maschinenbearbeiteter Schafthaken. Gerade erst gestern habe ich das Tool für Seilscheiben ausprobiert. Die Auswahl erfolgt je nachdem, welche Anforderungen du angibst. Am Ende bekommst du eine Zeichnung heraus. Und die leitest du einfach an unseren Einkauf weiter. So bekommst du exakt das, was du brauchst. Hier ist die Adresse der Website. Probier' es einfach mal mit dem Schafthaken“.
„Danke, Martin“, antwortet Thomas. „Ich sehe mir das sofort mal an“.
Wenige Stunden später. „Diese Info war Gold wert“, sagt Thomas, als er wieder in Martins Büro kommt. „Ich habe deinen Vorschlag umgesetzt, das heißt: die Website von Crosby aufgerufen, den Konfigurator verwendet, meine Anforderungen an den Haken eingegeben und die dabei entstandene Zeichnung Birgit zukommen lassen. Sie führt die Bestellung heute Nachmittag aus. Wie du gesagt hast: Alles ging ganz einfach. Und Birgit hat jetzt detaillierte Technische Daten von mir bekommen und kann die Bestellung vornehmen.“

## LASSEN SIE SICH NICHT TÄUSCHEN... Nicht alle Seilrollen bringen dieselbe Leistung
Jede McKissick® Roll-Forged™ Seilrolle entsteht aus einer AISI C-1035 Kohlenstoff-Stahlblech. In einem bewährten Walzschmiedeverfahren, wodurch der kritische Rillenbereich zusätzlich verstärkt, wird. Die Seilrolle wird aus einem mit präziser Schneidbrenntechnik ausgeschnittenen Rohling geformt. Anschließend wird mit dem erforderlichen Druck die Nabe eingesetzt. Der dabei entstehende Kontakt ist ausschließlich „Metall auf Metall“. Zum Befestigen wird ein tief eindringendes Schweißmaterial verwendet. Hierdurch soll sichergestellt werden, dass die Nabe richtig sitzt und eine längere Lebensdauer gewährleistet ist.
